  • Read more reviews| Find Me on Facebook I get asked a lot about book recommendations with characters that are older and more mature. Entrusted is a great adult novel that has heart to it. I think readers will appreciate the story of Anna and those who are religious will appreciate the power of prayer and God’s word.I really love how Entrusted was written, it starts off when Anna at the age of 19 discovering she is pregnant with her boyfriend’s baby. Mike & Anna are in love and decide to g [...]

"he is not yours he's mine"these were the words Anna Bertran heard God whisper to her in the book "Entrusted" Anna Bertran was only 19 when she discovered she was pregnant. This was not a planned pregnancy. She married Mike, the father of the baby. She gives birth to a boy and names him Justin.Within a year the marriage falls apart. Homeless and afraid, Anna seeks help at [...]

  • This is an amazingly well written story. Throughout, the author covers a large span of time with this novel, but nothing ever seems rushed or missing. This is a very detailed story that the reader floats through without confusion and with a sense of time flying, as it does when your only child grows up. It comes to a bittersweet conclusion that simultaneously makes you smile and brings you to tears.Rummler draws you right in with the characters that she creates for this work. I appreciate that e [...]

  • I won this book from a giveaway and have spoken with the author through out my reading process. I haven't been as emotionally invested in a character in such a long time. The last few pages made me cry, I won't lie. This woman's journey from a scared young girl that gets pregnant unexpectedly to a strong woman who FINALLY gets a definite peace in her life is very inspiring. This story is brutally honest and relays a message of hope in times of fear, despair, loneliness and frustration. I love st [...]

A mother’s love, so deep, wasn’t it her job to protect? Anna had poured her heart and soul into raising Justin. When he unexpectedly dropped out of her life, she was left devastated. Was it fate? A chance meeting with a young soldier on a beach in Maine, who had left a pocket-sized book in the sand, a photograph tucked neatly in [...]

  • “Yes, but we must never forget that God has entrusted us with our children. His plans for them are far greater than we could even fathom.”Wow. Such an emotional read that embezzles it's way deeply in your heart. I'm not a mother myself but I've never cried before because of a book but this one really touched me. It's genuinely timeless and exquisite"Entrusted" tells the story of a mother trying to find answers. Pregnant at the age of 19, Anna gives birth and raises her son Justin the best sh [...]

  • Entrusted by Sherry Rummler draws you from the very beginning. The Prologue provides us an introduction to Anna, who is wondering why her son has not contacted her. The last sentence of the Prologue sets up the story perfectly: "She had given so much of herself to him, that when he walked away he took part of her."Anna was just 19 went she got pregnant with her son, Justin. The story takes us with Anna on her journey raising Justin. Through the years, people come into Anna's life just as she nee [...]

  • I loved the characters in this book. They were real, spoke to me and we comforted each other as I journey with her on hers. This read was easy to read and fall in love with. The main story plot is of life and a much too young, mother to be and marriage that wasn't what either thought it would be. Her life was full and busy and wrapped around her child and providing leaving nothing for her as a person. Many friendships were formed with love and understanding and a new found hope and joy in her Lo [...]

  • What a timely reminder! I received this book for review and it came at the perfect time! As I struggle with my teenage step-daughter, I needed the reminder that God only loans us His children and He has a plan for their life. One would think that as she is the 6th step/foster child that has gone through this house, I would have the lesson down by now- but sometimes we all need a little nudge or reminder. I could identify with the hardships of being a single mom, having had gone through that myse [...]

  • What a fantastic read! I've never read a book by this author, it was offered free for download for a day, I had missed the offer. I'm so glad she's in our 2 friends promote authors group on Facebook as I approached about if it was still free. Luckily for me she made it a gift to me.No matter how important or small part each character took in this wonderful story each one was very memorable. For me, a book has to be exciting, or thrilling, grip me from the outset, emotive etc this had it all.Emot [...]

  • Sherry sent me a copy of her book and asked that I review it when I finished. I can honestly say that its been quite a while since I've had a book touch me so deeply. To say that I loved this book is such an understatement. I recommend this to anyone who is a parent, who has a parent and who is wanting to become a parent. You will not be disappointed. I hope that the author will be coming out with another book really soon. This is one of the few books that I will definitely be reading more than [...]

  • A must read! This book takes you on a journey through a mother's life, the ups and downs, the joys and heart breaks. It leaves you laughing and crying, but most importantly it makes you believe you are part of the story. You feel all the emotions Anna feels, and then some. Once you start reading, you're never going to want to put it down! Wish there were other books by this author, because I would buy them all in a heart beat!

  • This is a fantastic must read story Especially if your a mum. I read this in one sitting. It gripped me totally. There was a lot about God in this book which I thought would put me off but without the religion in this story it wouldn't be such a great story. This was a sweet story which certainly could bring a tear to your eye. After just finishing this book all I can say is. Wow.I highly recommend this book. Received in return for an honest review.

  • An emotional journey that truly explores the relationship of a mother and son and just how much she feels responsible for him. There connection is strong, even if not always healthy. I am definitely shelving this novel to use for quotes in my writing.Darcee KrausMckinleyville, CAetsy/shop/BlassGlass

  • Sherry Rummler has written a sweet, hopeful tale with characters who are brimming with heart. I found the main character, Anna, so genuine and kind I felt like I'd known her for years. During our lives, heartbreak finds most of us. Enchanted allows us to feel the camaraderie of kindred soul. Well done, Sherry Rummler!

  • This is an excellent book! Be prepared with a box of tissues beside you before you delve into it though. With my first child on the way it tugged on my heartstrings. I will wait and read it again in a couple years and I think it'll be even more emotional for me then!

  • I highly recommend this book such an emotional journey .Grab a box of tissues because it has some sad parts to the story .The characters are great ! Loved it and thanks so much for letting me read this book!

  • I liked this book. The main character, Anna, is believable and just like someone we all may know. I could identify with her struggles as a single mom. Although sad and tragic for Anna, there is still hope & something to live for. Good job, Sherry Rummler!

  • I received this book via the First Reads program.I enjoyed this book, especially since it was a Christian-based book. It had just the right amount of twists and turnst one too many. It was also an easy read, with the short chapters.

  • This was such a good book. I couldn't put it down and was in tears by the end. The characters were very well developed and the storyline flowed smoothly. I am hoping for a sequel to this book!!

  • I cried at the ending of this book but felt the writing was a bit stilted and the main character a bit unrealistic. Overall a decent book.

  • What an excellent read, a truly refreshing story! On par with Nicholas Sparks with just a touch of a spiritual undertone. I received this book from a giveaway.

  • she got preg at 19 , married, had son. didnt work out. she moved to another state to keep her job at dentist. her sister got married. her x got married and had another kid. she raised her son alone, her life revolving around him. he left at 18 joined the army, she never heard from him. she met a man, married and found a man on the beach with a dog and he lost his bible with her sons photo in it. she tried to track him down, had the photo on the table at restaurant, waitress was his aunt who got [...]

  • I really enjoyed this book.I have only 2 complaints, but one is only little, and the other may be more a matter of perception than anything. In the beginning of the book, she mixes language a bit, back and forth in the dialogue for a given character between things like "wanna" and "gonna" (perfectly acceptable for dialogue), and dialogue sentences right next to those that are so formal they don't use a single contraction. Like I said, not a big deal, not even incorrect, just a bit jarring as you [...]

  • At the start of the book, the main character, Anna is pondering her life as it is now. Then it flashes to the story of her life from teen to well into her adult years. She faced struggles as a young mother raising a child on her own. Being that she is a single parent, she and Justin formed a very strong mother - son bond. Dealing with her son as he grows into a strong willed, independent teen was a challenge. Justin, as so many teens do, pushed his mother away and soon their relationship became [...]

  • This story could be about any mothers life, as it deals with a lot of things we have all been through at some point in our relationships or with our children It was a story where all of the characters add something to the way this story evolves, good or bad. It also deals with the necessity of friendships and in this case also with the questions of Faith. I didn't realize that this was Christian fiction when I bought it, and usually I don't like to have those kind of views thrown at me but as th [...]

  • *I recieved a free copy of this book through First Reads*3.5 Stars.I liked this story a lot, but it was not at all what I expected. From the description, I expected to read about a mother searching for her son. But the story covered all of Justin's 18 years; Anna's struggles being a young single mother; their life after they move from Maine to Minnesota; and Anna's struggles with her faith. Her search for her son only covers a very small portion of the book.I finished this book in a few hours. A [...]
