  • 4.25 stars. Thrilling, m/m romantic suspense that you can really savour. I thoroughly enjoyed this story about an American PI, Elias Grimm, who is sent to Japan on the trail of a killer. The author has written a complex, well plotted and gripping mystery that's right up there with mainstream crime thrillers. Elias is a loner, his wife and daughter left him years ago and he now runs a PI agency which is losing money fast. He is part Japanese himself although he grew up in the US. So while he spea [...]

  • I would like to give this story five stars, but small inconsistencies in the plot, loose ends in the plots resolution and flaws with genuineness of the relationship caused me to hold back a star. For the most part this story was a quick pace mystery that I enjoyed. When I consider the age of the author at the time of writing this story (early 20's), I am certain that with more experience in her craft she will be penning many great novels. The setting is in Japan. I know little about Japan but foun [...]

  • I truly enjoy reading Nicole Wilkinson stories. Her writing style is down to earth, mixed with sarcasm and humor. But that's not all. I like the realistic aspect in this written storyline. Elias is a fine realistic character. His personality is not perfect, but then that's what I liked the most. Madison played double game with Elias, which wasn't funny, but then nothing is perfect. Sure the way it ended it felt rather rushed and undeveloped. That's why I wouldn't mind reading more about Elias &a [...]

  • That was very good book. Story plot is full and interesting. Main character Elias is a private investigator who is hired to find a killer of one young guy who died in a strange way.Elias is well written character who pulls you into his story right away. I like that. I would gave 5 stars to the book if we would have epilogue at the end; but oh well we can't get what we want every time. That story if for those who like mystery, suspicion and passion.
